Bozzio is a Swiss company specializing in safe, adaptive drive-by-wire systems. Since its founding in 2005, Bozzio has been developing innovative solutions for people with physical disabilities as well as for industrial applications where precision, redundancy, and reliability are critical.

Founding of Bozzio GmbH. Winner of the Swiss Technology Award. First patent application submitted.
2002- 2006
Mr. Yves Bozzio, who lives with a muscular disease himself, initiates the joysteer® project. Led by Bernhard Gerster, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Funded by various disability organizations and the Swiss innovation agency Innosuisse (formerly CTI).
