Standalone Module

The modularity of the joysteer 3.0 system allows the use of individual standalone modules. The modules can also be controlled via a digital, redundant interface. Standalone modules can be used for applications where no road approval is required.

Force Feedback Module (Industry)
  • Integrated force feedback motor
  • Max torque 6 Nm
  • Basic module for applications without steering collumn
  • Designed to mount a steering wheel
Redundant actuator for steering
  • Delivered with two separate motor control modules
  • The steering actuator is compact and is typically mounted between the steering column and the steering wheel
  • A wide range of bracket sets (mechanical interfaces) is available for various vehicle types
  • Equipped with high-resolution multi-turn absolute sensors
Electronic acceleration module
  • Offers the commutation of the OEM motor control unit over the OEM gas pedal and/or an alternative input device (HMI)
  • Compatible for a wide range of cars with different protocols like Analog, PWM, SENT etc.
Redundant actuator for braking
  • Delivered with two separate motor control modules
  • The brake actuator is compact and invisibly integrated
  • A wide range of bracket sets (mechanical interfaces) is available for various vehicle types
  • “Push only” principle: Conventional braking by the (safety) driver is always possible
  • Equipped with high-resolution multi-turn absolute sensors
  • Control can be based on travel distance or hydraulic pressure
Micro Wheel Active Force Feedback
  • Integrated force feedback motor
  • Max torque 1.4 Nm
  • Lock to Lock defined by parameter
Micro wheel
  • Passive feedback with spring damper
  • Lock to Lock :

3.0 revolutions / side

2.0 revolutions / side

1.0 revolutions / side

  • Small in size, especially on height
4 Way Joystick Active Force Feedback
  • Integrated force feedback motor
  • Max torque 1.0 Nm
  • Travel for throttle/brake: +- 25 mm
2 and 4 Way Joystick
  • Asymmetric design (for hand rest)
  • Can be ordered in configurations for left and right hand
Slider
  • Passive feedback with spring
  • Travel: ±45 mm
  • Force: Variable, depending on travel distance and spring configuration
Tilter
  • Flat construction
  • Asymmetric design (for hand rest)
  • Can be ordered in configurations for left and right hand
One Hand Joystick Active Force Feedback
  • Integrated force feedback motor
  • Max torque 1.0 Nm
  • Wrist-controlled steering
